gift ideas for elementary students

Try to “catch” students whoperform well or do good deeds every week. Let the “caught” students write their names and what they have done on apiece ofpaper, and thenput thepaper into a “good thing jar”. Every Friday, I randomly take out a fewpieces ofpaper from the “good things jar” and give smallprizes to the selected students.

2。 Issue incentive vouchers

Issue incentive vouchers to students whoperform well, such as handing in homework on time and winningpraise from other teachers. Students can receive “prizes” when they accumulate a certain number of incentive vouchers, such as having lunch with teachers and drawingprizes fromprize boxes.

As time goes on, the requirements are gradually raised, and students have to get more incentive vouchers to get these “prizes”. By the end of the school year, even if there is no reward, teachers can give students “unexpected rewards” from time to time if they behave well.

Cut the sticker into smallpieces ofpaper, write interesting topics on thepieces ofpaper, wrapit in a big letter, and hang the envelope next to a small blackboard. If all the students in the class behave well, or arepraised by other teachers, or have excellent classroomperformance, take out apiece ofpaper from the envelope and stick it on the blackboard. If the students answer the questions on thepaper correctly, they will give the whole class a special reward.

4。 Surprise

Write the word “surprise” on the blackboard. In class, if students are noisy or leave their seats withoutpermission, erase a letter from the end. If everyone appears to be doing well, add the erased letters in order.

At the end, if the word is complete, then give the students a surprise reward. You can also use a Chinese sentence instead of “Surprise”. If students just need to learn idioms orpoems, they can usepoems such as “but you widen your view three hundred miles and by going upone flight of stairs”.

5。 Colorful “prizes”

(1) Let the student have lunch with his favoriteperson;

(2) The teacher calls theparents of the students withpraise;

(3) Use colored chalk;

(4) Helpthe librarian;

(5) Invite a friend from another class to have lunch in the class;

(6) Change seats as you wish;

(7) Have lunch with the teacher;

(8) Be the host in the game.

6。 The golden rule

Cover a small blackboard with apiece of goldenpaper, which says “the golden rule” in your class, and hang it up. Every time I see a student well observing one of the “golden rules”, I write his name on a smallpiece ofpaper and then stick it on the “golden wall”.

Every week, or every month, take down all the notes andput them in a box. Randomly draw notes from the box and reward the students who are drawn.

7。 Class thermometer

Make your class full ofpraise, and use a “thermometer” to measure yourpraise. Draw a thermometer from 0 to 100 degrees in the classroom, with 100 spaces in total. Every time youpraise a student, ask thepraised student to color the thermometer from 0 to 100 degrees.

When 100 squares are covered with various colors, the whole class will be rewarded, such as holding a small get-together, giving them 30 minutes of free time, or carrying out other activities they like toplay.

8。 Temporary incentive ticket

If you need to go out, the substitute teacher will take the class for you. Before you leave, you can give the substitute teacher a stack of notes and ask him to send them to those students who haveperformedparticularly well. When you come back, give special rewards to those students who get the note.

9。 Award Wall

If you see a student doing well, ask him to write his name on a small blackboard called “Award Wall”. When you need students to complete a task, and all the students are eager to do it, you ask a student on the “reward wall” to do it. If there are too many names, fill upthe “reward wall” and give a special reward to everyone above.

10。 Desk neatness inspector

Are many students messing uptheir desks? If you want to solve thisproblem, you can give students a big check on the cleanliness of their desks. You don’t have to inform them in advance. When the students are not in the classroom, you start to check.

For a clean desk, you canput a smallprize on the desk or in the desk, orput apre-printed “inspection report”.

11。 Timer

Prepare a timer in the classroom. Once the students start talking loudly in class, or it is difficult to be quiet for a while, you canpick upandpress the timer and say to the students, “Time is on!” When the students are quiet, stoptiming and write down the recorded time on the blackboard.

Every month, add upall the recorded time, and then subtract this time from 15 minutes, and the remaining time is the time to reward students, who can decide to use this time toplay their favorite games.

12。 Operation card

Every student has an operation card. Every time hepraises, such as doing his homework well, coming upwith good ideas, showing good manners and friendly behaviors, he will stamphis card. When the stampon the card is full of five, they can exchange this card for aprize.

13。 Homework reward card

For classes withpoor homework completion, students can be given homework reward cards. Send them a card as long as they hand in their homework on time. When they accumulate 10 cards, they will get a reward. If they accumulate 15 cards, they will get a chance to choose the content of their homework.

14。 Exchange badges forprizes

Make small round badges out of cardboard to reward students who haveperformed well all day. When students collect 10 badges, they can get aprize.

15。 Time reward

If the day’s teaching activities are completed smoothly, you can set aside one or two minutes before school to let studentsplay games. The winner will receivepoints or smallprizes. Students must strive for this time by collective efforts, and oneperson’s violation will make them lose the opportunity. Of course, the content of the game should be related to teaching.
