The airport covers an area of 5,106 acres (2,066 hectares) and is located in Palam, 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) southwest of New Delhi Railway Station and 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) from the city center of New Delhi. Indira Gandhi International Airport, named after former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, is India’s busiest passenger airport since 2009 and the busiest cargo airport in India, surpassing Mumbai at the end of 2015.

Netaji Subbath Chandrabowes International Airport is the main aviation facility throughout Eastern India and can handle 25 million passengers per year. The airport serves several airlines such as Air India, Emirates, Ethiad Airlines, GoAir, IndiGo, JetAirways, SpiceJet, Vistara, etc.
Seventh, Cochin International Airport. Cochin International Airport (CochinInternationalAirport) is located in Kochi, Kerala, India and is operated by Cochin International Airport Limited. Cochin International Airport has three terminals, two domestic terminals and one international terminal. The airport covers an area of 2,000 acres with a total cargo terminal area of 2 million sq. ft. and is mainly used for business operations.
