How do I express my gratitude when I receive a gift?

If it is a formal setting, correct the answer’s mistake. In the context of our Chinese culture, being praised in the Chinese context should first be self-effacing to express gratitude. Although direct gratitude is also possible, it will give people a feeling of pride and may be a minus item in conversations with superiors. The most common words are “you have praised/praised” or “you are too kind”.

sending a thank you email for a gift

There are not so many details in informal settings. It is understandable to be praised. Although expressing gratitude is the most direct, there is no outstanding point. Ordinary people rarely say thank you directly.

We Chinese people pay attention to leaving room for when we do things and speak, and generally express ourselves more politely.

The most common situation after being praised in informal settings should be mutual bragging. You support me and I support you. Hey, when it means it, everyone is happy in their hearts.

Some people are sincere and even give each other small gifts to express their feelings ♂.

Some people are just superficial friends, and it is not shameful to make a haha. This is more common in social relationships. But I want to mention another kind of strange skeleton – arrogance. It is very likely that what others praise you for receiving is just a “humph! (a sound or a soft voice) ” in tone. WTF?! Meow meow meow?!

Many people who have never been in contact with me have this reaction after being snorted by arrogance. In fact, in the heart of arrogance, they are very happy like most people, but their expression ability is lacking or they are born with heterogeneous brain circuits.

I used the little money I saved from working part-time to drag my dad out to a restaurant. My dad also resisted.

When the aroma of the wine and dishes came to the table, when Lao Tzu smiled like a fool and drooled, he first toasted the wine to his son.

Generally, I respond to all changes in this situation with a hum.

Parents are arrogant, how can I be a normal person? Humph! How to write the words of thanks after receiving the gift above
